“The Art of the Story” For an artist to expand on authors and illustrators participation in five family events promoting reading within family’s of K-5 students, hosted by Project Adelante.

“20th Anniversary Celebration”, to fund Inupiak dancers, a storyteller, and dog sled demonstration.
Dallas Arts Association - $375
For the “Art in the Park” event during Summerfest for children’s activities including a storyteller, magician and art projects.
Monmouth Independence Community Arts Association - $500
The “Yellow Umbrella Project”, to bring the communities of Monmouth and Independence together on a common craft project.
Friends of the Dallas Library partnered with Polk County Youth Librarians - $400
To provide artists and materials for “Art in the Library”, a five part series to explore local cultural arts.

“Promoting Cultural Assets” by expanding and protecting local Native American exhibits.
Smith Fine Arts - $1000
To provide a free performance at Rice Auditorium from Do Jump Theater for 600 elementary, and intermediate students in Monmouth and Independence.

To provide a low cost band performance at the Rice Auditorium for the Sesquicentennial of the University by the Oregon Trail Band.
Pentacle Theater partnered with Chemeketa Community College- $1000
For a coordinator to hold seven additional acting workshops as an introduction to drama for high school students.
Campos de Polk - $1000
To provide high quality musical performers at the Mexican Independence Day Fiesta.
Smith Fine Arts - $1000
To fund the Boston Brass to travel to Falls City High School as well as Monmouth and Independence students to attend a performance at Rice Auditorium where the performers give an overview of the history of brass instruments and how they work.
Monmouth Independence Community Arts association - $1000
To produce an illustrated publication on the history of Monmouth and Western Oregon University.
Monmouth Independence Community Foundation - $1000
To purchase and place signs denoting the original 1865 city limits of Monmouth.
Polk County 4-H - $1000
To purchase costumes, boots and dance lessons for the traveling performers of the Polk County Hispanic Dance Group.

Purchase costumes and provide free dance classes to Polk County youth for traveling Hispanic Dance Group.

To copy, digitize, enhance and broadcast oral histories of residents of Independence on KPIE radio.

To create historical displays and facts for distribution throughout the festival.

To offer a series of workshops of Indigenous cultural arts and crafts of the Americas, Participants of all ages will learn the history and traditions of the latino culture and display the art at the Fiesta Mexicana.
